You will have noticed the dwindling number of posts recently. Eagle-eyed readers may have twigged from the last one that we have crossed the Atlantic once more and are back in Blighty after a whirlwind three months on ‘the Rock’. It was amazing having so many wonderful visitors, every one of them keen as mustard to muck in and help us with our adventure. With their amazing help we have achieved a great deal and successfully negotiated a few bumps in the road, while our local Bajan friends and family have been stalwarts, always supportive and ready with advice, recommendations, introductions, contacts – and everyone has been the best company over a few fish cakes, rum punches and belly laughs. To all of you, visitors and locals – you know who you are – a huge thank you.
Activity at Pollards continues. Our top team is carrying out maintenance and upkeep on the fences, roofs, gutters, mill, pool, grounds – everything’s ticking over nicely. And all under the watchful gaze of this little guy:
