We have clean clothes, air dried in the wonderful breezes. The washing machine works and we have restrung the rotating clothes airer and removed the rusting, friable, yellowing line. 💪 That in itself is a win which ever way you look at it. I’m sure you have no interest in our washing but we are chuffed and what a place for clothes to dry.
We have been entertaining. At 7am this morning our new best friend Joel from Serenity pest control arrived….. He walked the walk, talked the talk and reassured us. There are no termites … big win. He has some treatments for the mosquitoes … massive win. There are no signs of active rodents etc etc it’s better and better. The roaches are there but as we know they would survive a nuclear explosion but he has some ideas for them too. Joel – you are our man, we sign up to a pest control ongoing package.
The pool man … Bluedot pool maintenance will hire us a pump to pump out the mosquito feeding, breeding and fertility centre we have in the pool room – that is also a win.
We have had our first guests for dinner … an humble affair!!!! But the best guests …. The fridge is now stocked with the entire range of Mike’s rum punch goodies (@mikesbajanrumpunch) and a new Rock rose for the patio.
