…another gutter 💪

This one came with ready-mixed leaf mulch. And not just any old leaf mulch. Oh no. MAHOGANY leaf mulch. Beat that!

Nicola did another load of detritus clearing, exposing two more lovely bougainvilleas in the process and collecting a smack on the head from a metal pipe sticking out of the wall for her troubles. Concussion check clear ✅ so we mulched a pot, filled the wheelbarrow with green waste and tipped it into the unofficial compost heap in the bush, did a load more manual labour and entertained a solar heating engineer before downing tools late afternoon in traditional fashion and plunging into the pool – this time with our kit on!

A typical day at Pollards Mill – but not quite. We were feeling slightly stir crazy so we hot-footed it down to Oistins for a couple of ‘Endless Summer’ rum, coconut and lime cocktails and Bajan fish cakes at Surfers Cafe as the sun set. How lucky we are.
